Week one EOC: costomer service
I remember this time I had exceptional customer service, I had purchased
a pair of roller blades from skate city they had a one year warranty on
this pair of blades I purchased the roller blades however broke and
fell apart. I went to get a replacement from skate city; they said that
they no longer carry that model of blades that I had originally
purchased. Skate city then gave me a pair of blades better than the
original blades that I had at no additional cost. (Broadly
defined, marketing is a social and managerial process by which
individuals and organizations obtain what they need and want through
creating and exchanging value with others.) My value of skate city was
greatly improved by the exceptional customer service. Since that
experience I will always go back to that skate city to buy my anything
for my skating needs because I know they will always be there and help
me out with whatever I need. Customer service is the best thing a
business could have to increase its profit. If a company sends a
customer a coupon for 10% off whatever they are selling and goes into
the store looking to buy that item that is 10% off and the company only
selects certain people for that coupon to be good for they just lost a
number of customers. Without good customer service a company will fight
and struggle to make good profit. With good customer service the company
will be wealthy because people will want to pay more for what they
want.
